Emergency First Aid at Work Training
Nine of our staff recently completed their refresher training on Emergency First Aid at Work. The day was a great success and included practical training on an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
As you can see, the course was highly practical and our staff quickly got stuck in practicing their CPR, Bandaging and Abdominal Thrust skills. Each staff member also got to use an AED for the first time; a portable piece of equipment now more commonly available which can save a persons life should they suffer a cardiac arrest.
The HSE approved course was run by Alan Ward of Bigfoot Services Limited and was held at Cardiff International White Water Centre.
